Thirteen-year-old pianist Thea Lukito was born in Melbourne. She is a Year 7 scholarship student at Strathcona Girls Grammar school and studies piano privately with concert pianist Dr Elyane Laussade.

Her love for the piano began when she was very young, and her passion continues to grow with each passing year.

Thea has won numerous awards for her musical talent. This year’s prizes include 1st place in the Open Age Duet section with her partner Gabby, and 2nd place in the Piano Solo 18 years old and under section at the Ringwood Eisteddfod. She also won 3rd place in the Solo Piano 16 years and under at the Boroondara Eisteddfod.

In addition to her musical talents, Thea loves acting, dancing and watching animé.
Thea thoroughly enjoys the performing arts and
wishes to pursue this further.
